After 9-11, homos and sodomites were blamed as the cause for the senseless destruction and loss of many lives.According to cnn.com, “On the broadcast of the Christian television program ‘The 700 Club,’ Falwell made the following statement: 'I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America. I point the finger in their face and say you helped this happen… I therefore believe that that created an environment which possibly has caused God to lift the veil of protection which has allowed no one to attack America on our soil since 1812."
But not so fast…
The Boy Scouts, without shame or fear, exclude "avowed homosexuals" from its ranks which includes a ban on gay troop leaders and gay scouts too, believing that gay members are not "morally straight," as they should be according to the Boy Scout oath. Teaching our children it’s okay to discriminate, to be intolerant of others is not very God-like.
But maybe this week, God has spoken again…

Can God make his feeling about the boy scouts of America any more clearer?
Maybe Mr. Falwell was right: To the boy scouts and your arrogant policy of bigotry, “I point the finger in (your) face and say you helped this happen.” Remember, God is watching (and judging) you to.
